Summary: | Islamic tourism holds significant potential in shaping individuals' religious perception and practices.
Understanding its impact on high school students is essential for educational institutions to develop
effective strategies in promoting religious awareness and practices among the youth. This study aims
to investigate the influence of Islamic tourism experiences on the religious perception and practices
among high school students. Despite the growing popularity of Islamic tourism, there is limited
research on its impact on the religious beliefs and practices of high school students. This knowledge
gap hinders educators and policymakers from harnessing the potential of Islamic tourism as a tool for
fostering religious awareness and practices among the youth. Thus this study intends to discover three
objectives which are; 1. To examine the extent to which Islamic tourism experiences influence the
religious perception of high school students. This study will employ a quantitative research method,
utilizing surveys to collect data from a sample of high school students. The survey will include questions
assessing participants' experiences with Islamic tourism, their religious beliefs and practices, as well as
demographic information. Data analysis will involve descriptive statistics and inferential techniques to
examine the relationships between Islamic tourism experiences, religious perception, and practices
among high school students. It is anticipated that Islamic tourism experiences will positively influence
the religious perception and practices of high school students. The study expects to identify specific
aspects of Islamic tourism that contribute most significantly to these outcomes, providing insights for
educators and policymakers to enhance religious education programs. |
