This paper is to identify the type of aid received by poor (miskin) and needy (faqir), to study the relationship between the employment sector and the types of aid received by both groups and to investigate the level of satisfaction of zakat distribution received among them. The respondents were randomly selected consisting of poor and needy under LZS Bandar Baru Bangi branch. Therefore, questionnaires were distributed to them and were analyzed using SPSS. Three methods were used to analyse the data. Descriptive analysis were used to determine the first objective of the research. It shows that the highest mean of aid received by poor and needy is Ramadhan and Raya aid and the lowest mean is shelter aid. Second method is the correlation analysis. There are four significant relationship between employment and the types of assistance. The last method is Friedman Test Analysis. Results of the study indicated that attitude of amil in zakat distribution which is the highest mean rank, 5.26.
