Naib Canselor Universiti Malaya Profesor Diraja Ungku Aziz menegaskan bahawa policy bahasa pengantar kursus pilihan tetap tanpa berubah dan mengatakan bahawa pihak yang tidak berpuas hati terhadap keputusan Universiti Malaya boleh mengambil tindakan undang-undang sekiranya hendak. 9 orang ahli PMUM telah diberi saman Universiti Malaya.
