| 總結: | The advancement of technologies makes children exposed to the negative impact if the usage of the technologies is not under control. Reading interest among children is also decreasing since they prefer to spend more time with computer games compared to reading books that are more beneficial. Nowadays parents tend to give devices such as tablets to their children as an easy way of learning. However, children are seen more interested in using the game based applications even though they give more unaware negative effects. A study states the eighty percent of applications in the market are produced by foreign companies and more motivated by profit only. Therefore, an interactive story book Malaysia Folktale is developed as a medium to encourage children to have interest in reading. An interactive story book Malaysian Folktale is an application of interactive story book with good moral value Malaysian culture features for IOS platform. This application contains exemplary stories taken from the Malaysian culture heritage as a reading resource for the users. This application has undergone testing phase in a education in class and the responses received from users starting that this application is an attractive and it facilitates learning and understanding the story written in the Malaysian culture heritage. Hopefully, the development of an interactive story book Malaysian Folktale will increase the application contents with Malaysian culture heritage features on the market to encourage a pure personal behavior and will attract the children to have an interest in reading with the interactive method and exciting |
