要約:Technical and vocational education and training (TVET) is increasingly being recognised as one of the drives for economic and social growth. TVET provides an avenue for less academically inclined students to acquire skills and knowledge needed in order to join the job market who are able to contribute positively to the community. TVET therefore can assist individuals to improve their lives by providing practical competencies that help enhance productivity at work. This paper provides an overview and analysis of the Malaysia TVET transformation programs, governance issues, as well as challenges faced in the development of the TVET sector. A total of 10 published documents related to TVET, with 5 specifically related to TVET in Malaysia were reviewed. This paper summarizes the findings based on the papers reviewed.
