Teachers must adapt effective and efficient teaching methods to help students on their skill acquisition. Therefore, it is important to have teachers who are competent and have vast experience in instructional methods. The study is designed to identify the teaching methods that have been implemented in mechanical program at Malaysia Vocational Colleges. Quantitative research design was utilized in carrying this study. Five hundred and sixty six (566) students from mechanical engineering program and seventy five (75) lecturers from mechanical engineering program of Vocational Colleges in southern region of Peninsular Malaysia responded to a questionnaire. It was recommended for lecturers to have collaboration with industry that related to mechanical engineering program to have a feedback about Malaysia Vocational College graduates and latest industry demand trends. Besides that, educators should be trained on effective teaching methods and be informed about the current industry needs.
